Less than 60!
We are at the point in the game were things are getting serious - with only 54 days left until the wedding, we need to get planning. There were a lot of discussions regarding the honeymoon, I think we shall leave it up to our readers - Kristen since you are practically the only person who reads this thing, that means you could have a huge influence on our first few days of marriage.
We have it narrowed down to a few choices - all of which have pros and cons here they are in a particularly biased order
1. Fiji / French Peloponysian Islands
Pros:
Dream come true for me and a beautiful / romantic first week or so of marriage
Beaches everywhere - high level of privacy at most resorts incl. ability to rent small islands for an afternoon picnic - can you say romance???
Out of the path of Hurricanes
Cons:
Cost - it's expensive, about 2x as much as the caribean or South America
2. Costa Rica
Pros:
Isolated
Plenty of activities - rainforests, spas etc.
Privacy
Cons:
Rain - and plenty of it - the month of August averages over 9.5 inches in CR
3. Greece
Pros:
Beautiful dream-come-true honeymoon for both Jen and myself
Beaches, privacy & elegant/romantic atmosphere
More than just beaches to experience
Cons:
Cost - greece in the summer is more expensive than any other time of the year
Travel time
4. Cabo - or somewhere on the west coast of Mexico
Pros:
Lower Cost
Relatively short travel time to destination
One of Will's close friends from college is getitng married the same day and are honeymooning in the area - we could meet up for dinner a night or two.
Cons:
I'm not sure I really want to go to Mexico...
Don't drink the water - you have to understand how much I love water
A lot of all inclusives - everyone says that's the way to go - but it's also less adventurous, and I like to have a bit more control - I've been to all-inclusive places, they are fun but the monotony and predictability can get old.
So there you have it, your input is very welcome here - or any alternative suggestions we have not come up with yet...

i think you should go to lapeer, michigan.. they have some great resorts there. do it.
I like your ideas...and you probably made your plans by now, but i love what we did on our honeymoon... took it easy in the Shenandoah Valley...had some mountain, canoeing and hiking time, had some beach time on the Eastern Shore...stayed in some AWESOME B&B's...other than that...I've been to Greece and it is beautiful...so, I guess that would be my vote...too bad finances, hurricanes, etc. can cause some challenge! Sorry it's taken me so long to read your blog...I had been wondering about your wedding date...wow! it is coming up fast.
