So lately, my blogging has bee a bit lackluster... Unfortunately it's been a bit out of my hands. My work is cranking - which is good I suppose and I've been in NYC for most of the week in meetings. This has awakened my heart to the reality that when I am finally married to Jen - this is not going to be the best way to live. I'm going to have to work at this work-life balance thing you always hear married people discussing. I thought that was all phsyco-babble from their spouses, but now I think they may be on to something.
I've noticed that I get used to my own private life really quick, and that part of life is over for me. Now it's about sharing the life I have with the one I love. That's a beautiful thing, and if I'm honest, I think it makes me a better person all the way around. So I guess God knew exactly what he was doing when he paired Jen and I together. It was his heart's desire and we were just fortunate enough to both hear that and join up with his plan for our lives.
Keep us in your prayers as we are heading down the back stretch of making the most major decisions in wedding planning. See you all in August!
